Reputation Helm. Your questions, answered.
How Reputation Helm protects your reputation, builds authority, and works with you. Clear answers about our services, process, and confidentiality.
The Reputation Helm approach
Protection, authority, and discoverability, considered together.
What exactly do you do?
Reputation Helm is a private reputation partner for founders, executives, creators, premium professional firms, and established brands. DEFEND addresses harmful content, reviews, and identity risk. BUILD develops credible authority through narrative, PR, and supporting evidence. GET FOUND focuses on generative engine optimization (GEO), helping AI systems discover and understand an accurate brand record.
How do monitoring and engagement fit?
Monitoring and engagement connect the three pillars. We follow the agreed public presence, consider responses, and use new findings to guide protection, content, authority, and discoverability. The channels, cadence, and responsibilities are tailored to your engagement; one connected relationship does not mean every service is included.
What does DEFEND cover?
DEFEND addresses harmful content, search exposure, impersonation, and account-access issues. We assess the evidence and legitimate routes before pursuing qualifying removal, de-indexing, verification, or recovery work. Where content remains, suppression, context, monitoring, and considered response may help. Each service has its own scope; outcomes remain subject to the relevant source or platform.
What does BUILD create?
BUILD brings together narrative development, relevant PR, credible reference sources, consistent brand identity, and authentic customer feedback. We develop stories and material with you, then pursue suitable opportunities. Earned coverage depends on independent editorial judgment. Sponsored content, paid placements, distribution, and syndication are identified for what they are; publication and results are not guaranteed.
What does GET FOUND cover?
GET FOUND focuses on generative engine optimization (GEO), improving the content, entity facts, and technical foundations that help AI systems discover, understand, and cite your brand. We review the current picture, prioritise useful changes, implement them or work with your team, and check progress against agreed questions. Supporting PR is considered only where needed. Rankings, indexing, citations, recommendations, and answer wording cannot be promised.
How does review activation fit?
Review activation invites genuine feedback from new and past customers, includes thoughtful responses to positive public reviews, and keeps connected profiles monitored. Monthly reporting covers activity, trends, and emerging risks. Removal cases and applicable third-party fees are separate. This program does not include a separate search or AI audit, citation campaign, website optimisation, or ongoing AI service.
Reputation Helm’s scope and limits
What can be pursued, what takes time, and what remains outside our control.
How is removal different from de-indexing or suppression?
Removal takes content down at its source. De-indexing removes a result from a search index; the source may remain online. Suppression and containment seek to reduce prominence or impact without deleting the source. We assess which routes are appropriate, and none is guaranteed.
How long does it take?
Timing depends on the agreed work, the starting position, and decisions made by platforms and publishers. We discuss expectations before work begins and report what has changed. We do not promise a completion date for third-party decisions or results.
Do you guarantee results?
No. We distinguish the work we deliver from decisions made by platforms, publishers, search engines, and AI systems. Removal, recovery, verification, publication, rankings, indexing, citations, recommendations, and visibility are not guaranteed. Any eligible reference or knowledge-panel work is also subject to independent approval and timing.
Engagement and confidentiality
Starting the relationship, agreeing the work, and protecting your privacy.
How do we begin working with Reputation Helm?
Book a private phone call. Your booking automatically triggers a comprehensive Reputation Report, which we first present and discuss with you at the meeting. Nothing is sent in advance, and there is no obligation. No Reputation Helm assessment or engagement work begins before the meeting.
What does a Reputation Helm engagement include?
The work and fees are agreed privately around your priorities. An engagement may focus on one pillar or connect several. Qualifying removal and de-indexing projects are assessed and priced separately; they are not automatically included in ongoing monitoring, PR, or other brand work.
Are removals included in other work?
No. Qualifying removal and de-indexing projects are assessed individually and priced separately. Their commercial terms do not automatically apply to monitoring, media, strategy, verification, account recovery, or other work.
What determines the cost of reputation management?
The cost depends on the work your situation requires: which search results or reviews need attention, how prominent they are, the people and brands involved, and the evidence or content needed to strengthen your public presence. We also agree the channels and level of ongoing monitoring. Reputation Helm prepares a private scope and fees around those priorities; qualifying removal and de-indexing projects are priced separately.
Do I need a one-off project or an ongoing retainer?
A defined issue may call for a focused project. An ongoing retainer can coordinate reputation protection, authority building and search or AI visibility as your business grows. We agree which work is included, what is priced separately, and how progress will be reported. You can begin with the priority that matters most; every engagement does not need all three pillars.
How should a course or coaching business compare reputation-management proposals?
Compare the work and responsibilities, not just the fee. Establish whether the scope covers the founder, company and individual programs; which search results and review platforms it addresses; and what new evidence or content will be created. For a business investing in advertising, ask how the plan addresses what prospects find between seeing an ad and deciding to buy. A useful proposal distinguishes completed work from changes in search visibility, citations and buyer response.
Who do you work with?
Founders, executives, public figures, and established brands with significant value attached to their name. This is a substantial, bespoke engagement with direct partner attention and a limited client roster.
Is everything confidential?
The first phone call is private. A mutual NDA is available if you would like one, and client work is never used as a public case study.
