Legal covenant
Privacy and non-disclosure.

At helm, confidentiality is not a checkbox at the bottom of a form. It is the baseline of how we operate. We keep this short and plain on purpose.
1. What we collect
When you contact us or book a conversation, we collect only what you choose to share: your name, contact details, and the context of your situation. When you use the site, we collect basic, standard analytics such as pages viewed, used only to understand and improve the site.
2. Data minimization
We do not maintain marketing lead databases built on your information, and we do not enrich, resell, or trade it. We hold what is needed to do the work and run the business, and no more.
3. How we use it
We use what you share to respond to you, to assess whether we can help, and to carry out an engagement if you become a client. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. How we share it
We share information only with the providers needed to operate, such as our scheduling and email tools, and only to the extent required. No detail of your situation, your brand, or your engagement is shared with third-party data aggregators. We may disclose information if the law strictly requires it. Otherwise, what you share stays between us.
5. Retention
Working files and diagnostic notes from an active engagement are kept only as long as the engagement needs them, and are removed on a defined schedule once it ends.
6. Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will honour reasonable requests. You can opt out of any non-essential communication at any time.
